  • In a previous article, we talked about the classifications of granules according to effervescence, and the methods of manufacturing and preparing it . 
  • There are intestinal and gastric classifications and covered follicles, each of which has its own distinctive characteristics to be more specialized in making treatments and obtaining vital processes in their designated areas.

Coated granule : 

  • The granules were coated with multiple layers with different characteristics of the excipients. Each layer has a specific use in a specific location. It is broken until it reaches its designated location for absorption.

  • The coating of the granules must be precisely so that no sticking or spotting .occurs in the external appearance

GI granules:

  •  They are granules that are coated with certain methods with materials that resist enzymes and intestinal acids, and give their effectiveness in a timely manner.
  • It is intended to add excipients, coatings and coatings to add time to the drug pill in releasing the active ingredient eg in the intestine.
