Oral powder:

  •  They are medicines that consist of solid materials that are mixed well with each other and consist of one or more active ingredients. There are lubricants, sweeteners, and other excipients.
  • The proportions are mixed by pharmacists and engineers specialized in the pharmaceutical industries to meet the needs of the community and health care centers .
  • It can be taken by swallowing or chewable in the oral cavity with water or other suitable liquid that does not interfere with the drug materials causing side effects .
  • These fine particles differ in shape, size, color, porosity, and hardness, so each type will have a different absorption according to the characteristics of the materials used in the manufacture of the tablet. It will be absorbed in the small intestine so as not to be affected by stomach acid, and others will be absorbed in the stomach, and so on, according to the patient's need.

Dry powders inhalers: 

  • The powders used in inhalation are mostly very fine in order to reach the small bronchioles and not to cause blockage of the bronchioles and bronchioles.
  • The lung is the best place where the largest amount of absorption occurs, so it has more bioavailability and the fastest response to the presence of small blood vessels in abundance .
