This is a medical health-concerned blog, we will be explaining different types of illnesses and diseases and how we can treat them by taking medical drugs.
Thank You
Stimulation of sympathetic nervous system and release of epinephrine or norepinephrine (act on Alfa and beta rec ) .
Indirect
Drug: amphetamine , Tyramine and cocaine
When norepinephrine binding on rec Alfa and beta rec the amphetamine was agent block of reuptake norepinephrine and epinephrine from synapse , my drug prevent effective of postsynaptic receptor and may enhance product epinephrine ,norepinephrine , and other neurotransmitter endogenously
Mixed action
Drug: ephedrine and pseudoephedrine
They have both effect at neurotransmitter directly by promote release from storage and prevent any thing can break norepinephrine , epinephrine in synapse as Catechol-O-methyl-transferase that play role in reuptake of neurotransmitter from adrenergic neuron
There are many drug act as adrenergic agonist
Non selective Alfa and Beta rec : ephedrine and pseudoephedrine , epinephrine , dopamine fenoldopam .
selective on Alfa 1 : phenylephrine .
selective on Alfa 2 : clonidine .
non selective on Alfa 1 and 2 : oxymetazoline norepinephrine
pharmacological action ( non selective Alfa and Beta receptor ) :
In general used as vasodilation and vasoconstriction .
The effect depending on dosing at low and high .
pharmacological action on heart : have positive effect for heart as heart failure disease and cardiac output and cardiac contractility .
pharmacological action on blood vessels : there are tow ways in BV vasodilation and vasoconstriction .
The epinephrine is effect as construct (Alfa effect ) in small capillary , smooth muscle and mucous cells . dilator on vessel that going to skeletal muscle and they are found in the liver ( Beta cells )
